Name: Cattleya Balsas

Location/Cultural conditions: We grow Cattleya Balsas in intermediate to warm conditions at approximately 18–28 °C, in very bright light with good air circulation and light shading during intense midday sun. During the growth phase, water regularly; the coarse orchid substrate should be allowed to dry out well afterwards.

Description and notes: Cattleya Balsas is a hybrid bred from the large-flowered Cattleya alliance. As a seedling, it can vary in flower color, lip markings, and shape. Strong, mature pseudobulbs are the foundation for a good bloom.
