Etymology:
frostii = Frost's Bulbophyllum.

Habitat:
epiphytic, in evergreen lowland forests at elevations of around 1450 to 1500 meters
Notes:
Its occurrence is now listed as Vietnam, but its original name was Cirrhopetalum bootanioides, the Cirrhopetalum from Bhutan. It is highly unlikely that these are the same species. The two countries are more than 2,500 km apart and lie in different climate zones.
Culture: Intermediate to warm conditions at around 16–26 °C, partial shade, high humidity, and good air circulation. Keep evenly moist in a fine, airy medium, but avoid waterlogging.
