Name: Rhyncholaeliocattleya Blanche Aisaka "hawaii"
Location/growing conditions: We recommend a very bright location with filtered sunlight, good air circulation, and medium to high humidity. Suitable temperatures are approximately 19–28 °C during the day and 15–20 °C at night. Water thoroughly during active growth and fertilize lightly; then allow the coarse, airy bark medium to dry out almost completely. After the pseudobulbs have matured, reduce watering slightly.
Description and notes: A cultivated hybrid from the Cattleya family with sympodial growth, thickened pseudobulbs, and leathery leaves. Flower size, color, and markings may vary depending on the clone or seedling. Plenty of light and a distinct difference between day and night temperatures promote compact shoots and reliable flower induction. The parents listed in the title are those of the hybrid offered; independent Grex registration is not required.
