Description

Rhyncholaeliocattleya Williette Wong 'the Best'

Name: Rhyncholaeliocattleya Williette Wong ‘the Best’

Parents: Rhyncholaeliocattleya Tassie Barbero × Rhyncholaeliocattleya Toshie Aoki

Location/Growing Conditions: Grow in bright to very bright filtered light with good air circulation. A coarse bark medium, regular watering during the growing season, and allowing it to dry out almost completely between waterings are ideal. We recommend around 18–28 °C with a slight drop in temperature at night.

Description and Notes: ‘the Best’ is a select cultivar of the Rhyncholaeliocattleya Williette Wong grex. It is distinguished by large, yellow, firm-textured flowers and a strongly contrasting reddish lip. With sufficient light, its vigorous growth and well-developed new shoots allow for regular blooming.
