Name: Rhyncattleanthe Bloody Mary
Location/Growing conditions: We recommend a very bright location with filtered sunlight, good air circulation, and moderate to high humidity. Suitable temperatures are around 19–28 °C during the day and 15–20 °C at night. Water thoroughly and apply a weak fertilizer during active growth; then allow the coarse, airy bark mix to dry out almost completely. Reduce watering somewhat once the pseudobulbs have matured.
Description and notes: A cultivated hybrid related to Cattleya, with sympodial growth, thickened pseudobulbs, and leathery leaves. Flower size, color, and pattern may vary depending on the clone or seedling. Plenty of light and a marked day–night temperature difference promote compact growth and reliable flower initiation. Any parents named in the title refer to the cross being offered; separate grex registration is not assumed.
