Name: Anoectochilus 47

Note on the name: “47” is a cultivar or selection number. As the species or hybrid identification has not been confirmed, we deliberately use this name for the plant.

Location/growing conditions: We grow Anoectochilus in warm to intermediate conditions at around 18–26°C, in shade to bright filtered light, with high humidity and gentle air circulation. We keep the fine, humus-rich, and airy substrate evenly moist but not constantly wet.

Description and notes: Anoectochilus are grown primarily for their exceptionally decorative leaves and belong to the so-called jewel orchids. Depending on the selection, the leaf pattern may feature contrasting veins, a metallic sheen, and a dark background color. We avoid direct sunlight.
