Description

Angraecum Lai's Star

Name: Angraecum Lai's Star

Parents: Angraecum Lemförde White Beauty × Angraecum sesquipedale

Registration: Grex registered with the RHS; registered in 2020, breeder Winning Orchids.

Location/Culture: We grow Angraecum Lai's Star in warm to intermediate conditions at approximately 18–28 °C, with bright filtered light, high humidity, and very good air circulation. We water the coarse, airy orchid substrate thoroughly and allow it to dry out slightly afterwards.

Description and Notes: This hybrid combines the elegant white flower character of Angraecum Lemförde White Beauty with the distinctive influence of Angraecum sesquipedale. We expect vigorous, leathery leaves as well as large white flowers with a prominent spur. Bright light culture supports vigorous growth and flowering.
