Etymology: The genus name Masdevallia honors the Spanish physician and botanist José Masdevall. “Inca Prince” is the registered grex name.

Registration: The hybrid was registered in 1994.

Origin / Breeding: Hybrid of Masdevallia veitchiana × Masdevallia Angel Frost.

Description & Care: Compact Masdevallia hybrid with vigorous growth and striking, triangular-looking flowers with long floral segments. We grow it in bright to shaded conditions in diffuse light, with high humidity and consistent moisture. The substrate should never dry out completely while remaining airy.
