Description

Rhyncalaelia Penny Ann alba

Name: Rhyncalaelia Penny Ann alba

Etymology: The name denotes a Cattleya alliance hybrid; “Penny Ann” is the grex name and “alba” refers to the white color form.

Origin / Breeding: Hybrid of the Cattleya alliance with the selection designation “alba”.

Description & Notes: Compact to medium-sized Cattleya hybrid with sturdy pseudobulbs and firm leaves. In our care, it grows in very bright conditions, with good air circulation and slight drying out between waterings. We water regularly during growth and cultivate it at approximately 18–28 °C.
