Name: Phragmipedium Rina Soto
Parents: Phragmipedium × roethianum × Phragmipedium caudatum
Registration: Registered with the Royal Horticultural Society in 2023 by Ecuagenera.
Location/Growing conditions: We grow this hybrid at intermediate temperatures of approximately 15–25 °C, in bright, filtered light, with high humidity and steady air movement. An airy, moisture-retentive substrate is kept evenly moist and should not be allowed to dry out completely for extended periods.
Description and notes: Phragmipedium Rina Soto combines the vigorous growth of Phragmipedium × roethianum with the exceptionally long petals of Phragmipedium caudatum. The flowers may display cream, greenish, and reddish-brown tones; seedlings may vary in petal length, patterning, and growth habit. Low-mineral water and good drainage support healthy roots.
