Description

Phragmipedium Pat Ramsey

Name: Phragmipedium Pat Ramsey

Parents: Phragmipedium kovachii × Phragmipedium hirtzii

Registration: Registered in 2020 by G. Ramsey with the Royal Horticultural Society.

Location/Growing conditions: The parentage calls for consistently moist roots, an airy medium, and intermediate temperatures of approximately 14–25 °C. We provide bright, filtered light, 60–80% humidity, and good air movement. A pronounced dry rest is not required.

Description and notes: Phragmipedium Pat Ramsey combines the large, intensely pink flowers of Phragmipedium kovachii with the more slender growth and longer floral segments of Phragmipedium hirtzii. Seedlings may vary in color, shape, and size. The medium is kept consistently moist while excess water drains freely.
