Description

Phragmipedium Les Varines

Name: Phragmipedium Les Varines

Parents: Phragmipedium caudatum × Phragmipedium longifolium

Location/Growing conditions: We grow Phragmipedium Les Varines under intermediate conditions at around 16–25 °C, with bright, filtered light, high humidity and good air circulation. The airy, moisture-retentive substrate is kept evenly moist.

Description and notes: This primary hybrid combines the very long, drooping petals of Phragmipedium caudatum with the vigorous growth and prolific flowering of Phragmipedium longifolium. Well-established plants can develop impressive, tall flower spikes.
