Description

Phragmipedium La Vingtaine

Name: Phragmipedium La Vingtaine

Parents: Phragmipedium sargentianum × Phragmipedium kovachii

Location/Growing conditions: We grow Phragmipedium La Vingtaine under intermediate conditions at around 16–25 °C, with bright, filtered light, high humidity, and good air circulation. The airy, moisture-retentive medium is kept evenly moist.

Description and notes: This primary hybrid combines the vigorous growth and warm hues of Phragmipedium sargentianum with the large, broad, intensely pink to purple flowers of Phragmipedium kovachii. Seedlings may vary in size, color, and patterning.
