Name: Phragmipedium Cuencano

Parents: Phragmipedium pearcei × Phragmipedium manzurii

Location/Growing conditions: We grow Phragmipedium Cuencano under intermediate conditions at around 16–25 °C, with bright filtered light, high humidity, and good air circulation. We keep the airy, moisture-retentive medium evenly moist.

Description and notes: This primary hybrid combines two species that tend to grow compactly. We expect elegant slipper-shaped flowers in greenish to yellowish tones with delicate markings; seedlings may vary in shape and color intensity. A pronounced dry rest period is not required.
