Phragmipedium Wössner Rosenglanz

Name: Phragmipedium Wössner Rosenglanz

Parents: Phragmipedium caricinum × Phragmipedium kovachii

Registration: Grex registered with the RHS; registered in 2018.

Growing conditions: We grow Phragmipedium Wössner Rosenglanz under intermediate conditions at around 16–25 °C, with bright, filtered light, high humidity and good air circulation. The airy, moisture-retentive medium is kept evenly moist.

Description and notes: This primary hybrid combines the narrower, elegant flower shape of Phragmipedium caricinum with the large pink to purple flowers of Phragmipedium kovachii. Seedlings can vary considerably in shape, size and color intensity.
