Description

Phragmipedium Peruflora's Angel

Name: Phragmipedium Peruflora's Angel

Parents: Phragmipedium richteri × Phragmipedium kovachii

Etymology: The genus name Phragmipedium derives from Greek and refers to the slipper-shaped lip; Peruflora's Angel is the grex name.

Location/Growing Conditions: We grow this primary hybrid under intermediate conditions at about 15–26 °C, with bright filtered light, high humidity, and good air movement. We keep the airy yet moisture-retentive medium evenly moist and do not let it dry out completely.

Description and Notes: The cross combines the more slender growth habit of P. richteri with the strong flowering potential of P. kovachii. The seedlings may vary in flower shape, size, and color. A pronounced dry rest is not necessary.
