Description

Philodendron lapoanum

Name: Philodendron lapoanum

Etymology: The genus name Philodendron comes from Greek: philos means "loving" and dendron "tree", so "tree-loving".

Origin / Habitat: Ecuador, in moist tropical forest areas. It grows climbing and uses trees as support.

Description & Care: Climbing Philodendron with strong, decorative foliage. We cultivate it in bright to partial shade, warm to intermediate conditions, with high humidity and good air circulation. We keep the substrate evenly moist and well-drained. We keep it at around 18–28 °C.
