Location/Cultural conditions: We cultivate this climbing hybrid in bright, filtered light, high humidity, and warm to intermediate temperatures of approximately 18–28 °C. A coarse, airy aroid substrate with good drainage is kept consistently slightly moist. A moss pole or similar climbing support encourages the development of larger leaves.

Description and notes: Philodendron Ivan Spirit combines the vigorous growth of Philodendron Ivan Portilla with the long, narrow leaf shape of Philodendron spiritus-sancti. As a seedling cross, the progeny may vary in leaf width, coloration, and growth habit. Waterlogging and cold drafts should be avoided.
