Microsorum thailandicum

Name: Microsorum thailandicum Boonkerd & Noot.

Etymology: The epithet thailandicum refers to Thailand, the natural distribution area of the species.

First description: The species was described in 2001 by Thaya Boonkerd and Hans Peter Nooteboom.

Origin / Habitat: Peninsular Thailand, in tropical habitats.

Description & Notes: Epiphytic fern with elongated, decorative fronds. We cultivate it in shady to bright indirect light, with high humidity and good air circulation. We keep the substrate consistently moist but well-drained. We keep it at about 18–26 °C.
