Description

Maxillaria Memoria Ben Berliner (5.5cm pot)

Name: Maxillaria Memoria Ben Berliner

Parents: Maxillaria variabilis × Maxillaria tenuifolia

Registration: RHS-registered grex; registered on January 10, 2006, by H. Gallis.

Location/growing conditions: We grow Maxillaria Memoria Ben Berliner in intermediate to warm conditions at around 17–27°C, in bright to partial shade and with good air circulation. During the growing season, we water regularly and allow the airy potting medium to dry out slightly between waterings.

Description and notes: This hybrid combines the compact and color-variable influence of Maxillaria variabilis with Maxillaria tenuifolia, which is particularly known for its coconut-like floral fragrance. This hybrid can also smell pleasantly of coconut and remains relatively compact.
