Name: Masdevallia Crystal Follansbee
Parents: Masdevallia Bella Donna × Masdevallia amabilis
Registration: Registered by Ecuagenera in the RHS International Orchid Register on September 26, 2013.
Location/growing conditions: This compact hybrid prefers cool to intermediate temperatures of approximately 14–24 °C, bright filtered light, high humidity, and good air circulation. We keep the fine, airy, moisture-retaining medium evenly slightly moist and use as soft water as possible. The roots must not dry out completely, while compacted or waterlogged medium should be avoided.
Description and notes: Masdevallia Crystal Follansbee is a compact, prolific-flowering hybrid. The light to white flowers may show a contrasting pink center; intensity and exact markings vary among seedlings. The influence of Masdevallia amabilis supports compact growth and good flowering. Cool nights and regular, weak feeding during active growth promote stable cultivation.
