Description

Epidendrum Panama Ruby

Name: Epidendrum Panama Ruby

Parents: Epidendrum medusae × Epidendrum porpax

Location/Growing Conditions: We grow the hybrid intermediately at around 16–25 °C, with high humidity, good air circulation, and bright, indirect light. We keep the fine, airy orchid potting medium evenly slightly moist, but avoid keeping the roots constantly waterlogged.

Description and Notes: Epidendrum Panama Ruby combines two species with a striking, compact floral display. The offspring can exhibit reddish to purple hues and varying flower shapes. Good air circulation is particularly important when humidity is high.
