Description

Dracula tsubotae f. xanthina

Name: Dracula tsubotae f. xanthina

Location/Cultural conditions: We cultivate this yellowish color form cool to intermediate at about 12–21 °C, with very high humidity, bright filtered light, and continuous gentle air movement. We keep the fine, airy, and moisture-retaining substrate constantly slightly moist.

Description and notes: The designation f. xanthina refers to a yellowish-colored form of Dracula tsubotae. The flowers possess the typical Dracula structure with elongated sepal tips. We avoid complete drying out and persistently high temperatures.
