Name: Dracula terborchii

Etymology: The genus name Dracula means "little dragon"; the specific epithet terborchii is an honorific.

Origin/Distribution: Northwestern South America.

Location/Habitat: We cultivate the species cool to intermediate at about 10–22 °C, with high humidity, filtered light, and continuous gentle air movement. We keep the fine roots consistently slightly moist and use water that is as soft as possible.

Description and Notes: This Dracula forms the compact, pseudobulbless growth typical of the genus and striking flowers with elongated sepal tips. A fine, airy, and moisture-retentive substrate is ideal; we avoid stagnant air, prolonged heat, and complete drying out.
