Description

Dracula roezlii roja

Name: Dracula roezlii ‘Roja’

Location/Growing conditions: We grow this vividly colored form in cool to intermediate conditions at around 12–21 °C, in shade to bright filtered light, with very high humidity and gentle, continuous air movement. We keep the fine, airy, and moisture-retaining substrate constantly slightly moist.

Description and notes: ‘Roja’ refers to a reddish-colored selection of Dracula roezlii. The unusual flowers display the long-extended sepal tails typical of the genus. We avoid complete drying out and prolonged warmth.
