Dracula minax

Name: Dracula minax Luer & R.Escobar

Origin/Distribution: This species is known from northwestern South America.

Site/Habitat: We grow Dracula minax in cool to intermediate conditions at around 12–21 °C, with very high humidity, bright filtered light, and continuous gentle air movement. We keep the fine, airy substrate evenly moist.

Description and Notes: This Dracula has the characteristic flowers with long, drawn-out sepal tips and is particularly suited to cool display cases or a temperate greenhouse. We avoid sustained heat, dry roots, and stagnant, humid air.
