Name: Dendrobium Swiss Mountain Palace
Description & Notes: A decorative Dendrobium hybrid for enthusiasts of compact and colorful orchids. It is particularly well-suited for bright, intermediate cultivation with good air circulation. During active growth, the plant should be watered consistently; permanently wet roots and intense heat should be avoided.
Light: Bright with plenty of indirect, filtered light. Some mild morning or evening sun is beneficial; avoid intense midday sun.
Temperature: Intermediate, ideally around 16–24 °C during the day and 12–18 °C at night. A slight nighttime drop is beneficial.
Water & Humidity: Keep consistently slightly moist and preferably use soft, low-mineral water. Allow the substrate to dry out slightly between waterings, without keeping the plant completely dry for extended periods. A humidity level of about 60–80% with good air circulation is beneficial.
Substrate: Fine to medium-coarse, airy bark-based orchid substrate, optionally with some sphagnum moss for more even moisture. Ensure very good drainage.
