Description

Dendrobium Mtn's Butterfly Kisses 'Pink'

Name: Dendrobium Mtn's Butterfly Kisses 'Pink'

Etymology: The genus name Dendrobium is derived from the Greek dendron ("tree") and bios ("life"). "Mtn's Butterfly Kisses" is the registered grex name; "Pink" denotes the selected flower color.

First description: The grex was registered by Mountain Orch. with the RHS in 2017.

Origin / Breeding: Dendrobium Mtn's Butterfly Kisses is a hybrid of D. glomeratum × D. cuthbertsonii.

Description & notes: Compact Dendrobium hybrid with small growth and striking, pink-colored flowers. We cultivate it in bright to slightly shaded conditions with high humidity, good air circulation, and consistent moisture. We keep it cool to intermediate, at approximately 12–22 °C.
