Name: Dendrobium Misty Magic f. pink
Description & Notes: An attractive pink form of the Dendrobium hybrid Misty Magic. Its compact growth habit and intensely colored flowers make it particularly interesting for smaller orchid collections, display cases, and temperate greenhouse cultivation. Consistent cultivation without extreme heat promotes healthy development.
Light: Bright with plenty of filtered, indirect light. Mild morning or evening sun is acceptable, but avoid intense midday sun.
Temperature: Temperate, ideally about 16–24 °C during the day and 12–18 °C at night. Avoid prolonged periods of extreme heat and ensure good air circulation.
Water & Humidity: Keep evenly slightly moist during the growth phase and water with soft, low-mineral water. Allow the substrate to dry out slightly between waterings, but do not let it dry out completely for extended periods. Humidity of about 60–80% with good air circulation is beneficial.
Substrate: Fine to medium-coarse, very airy bark-based orchid substrate, with a little sphagnum moss if needed. Good drainage is important; the roots must not stand in water for long periods.
