Name: Bulbophyllum frostii × Bulbophyllum ornatissimum
Parents: Bulbophyllum frostii × Bulbophyllum ornatissimum
Location/Growing conditions: Grow in bright to partially shaded conditions with high humidity and good air circulation. A fine to medium, airy substrate that retains some moisture is suitable. Keep evenly slightly moist during growth, but avoid waterlogging. Intermediate temperatures of approximately 16–26 °C are suitable.
Description and notes: This cross, which has not been designated as a grex in its own right, combines two striking Bulbophyllum species. It develops creeping rhizomes with single leaves on the pseudobulbs and decorative inflorescences. Reddish to dark hues and a highly contrasting, mobile lip are to be expected; seedlings may vary in form and pattern.
