Description

Anthurium effusispathum

Name: Anthurium effusispathum Croat

Origin/Distribution: Colombia.

Location/Habitat: Moist tropical forests. We grow the species in warm conditions at around 20–28 °C, with high humidity, good air circulation, and bright to partial shade, indirect light. We keep a coarse, humus-rich, and well-drained aroid substrate evenly slightly moist.

Description and Notes: Anthurium effusispathum is a tropical anthurium with robust foliage and striking inflorescences. Constant warmth, high humidity, and a well-ventilated root zone are particularly important for healthy growth. We avoid waterlogging and cold conditions.
