Name: Anthurium Wonder × Anthurium Eureka (seedling)
Parents: Anthurium Wonder × Anthurium Eureka
Etymology: The genus name Anthurium is derived from Greek word elements meaning "flower" and "tail," referring to the characteristic spadix inflorescence. The names Wonder and Eureka refer to the two horticultural parents of this hybrid.
Location/growing conditions: We recommend bright, diffused light without intense midday sun, moderate to high humidity, and good air circulation. Warm temperatures of approximately 20–28°C during the day and 17–22°C at night are ideal. The growing medium should be loose, coarsely textured, and very well-drained, while still retaining some moisture.
Description and notes: This hybrid combines two selected Anthurium hybrids and is offered as a seedling. As such, natural variation between individual plants is to be expected, particularly in leaf shape, leaf color, venation, and growth habit. We cultivate the plants in an airy aroid mix with coarse mineral and organic components. During the active growing season, we water regularly with water that is as soft as possible, allow excess water to drain away completely, and fertilize lightly but continuously. We avoid waterlogging and permanently compacted growing media.
