Name: Anthurium regale 'Light'
Description & Notes: A selected form of Anthurium regale, a particularly impressive foliage plant. The large, velvety-looking leaves feature striking light-colored venation. The 'Light' selection is especially interesting for collectors of large-leaved anthuriums. For good leaf development, we recommend consistent growing conditions without extreme fluctuations.
Light: Bright to partial shade with soft, filtered light. Avoid intense direct midday sun.
Temperature: Mild to warm, ideally around 18–26 °C. Avoid extreme heat and persistently low temperatures.
Water & Humidity: Keep evenly and slightly moist without allowing the substrate to remain constantly wet. The top layer may dry out slightly between waterings. Humidity of around 70–85% is beneficial; good air circulation is also important.
Substrate: Loose, very airy, and slightly moisture-retaining aroid substrate made of bark, coconut chips, or coconut coir, some sphagnum moss, and mineral components such as perlite or pumice. Avoid waterlogging at all costs.
