Description

Anthurium perangustum cf

Name: Anthurium perangustum cf.

Etymology: The genus name Anthurium comes from Greek and refers to the characteristic shape of the inflorescence. The epithet perangustum means “very narrow” and refers to the narrow shape of certain plant parts.

Description & Notes: Anthurium with a more compact growth habit and decorative, textured foliage. The designation “cf.” indicates that the plant is compared with Anthurium perangustum. We grow it in bright to partially shaded conditions, warm temperatures, high humidity, and with good air circulation. We keep the substrate evenly lightly moist and prevent waterlogging. We keep it at around 18–26 °C.
