Description

Anthurium panamense

Name: Anthurium panamense Croat

Etymology: The specific epithet panamense refers to Panama.

Origin/Distribution: Panama.

Location/Habitat: We cultivate the species in warm to intermediate conditions at approximately 18–27 °C, with high humidity, good air circulation, and bright, indirect light. We keep a coarse, humus-rich, and well-draining aroid substrate consistently slightly moist.

Description and Notes: Anthurium panamense is a botanical Anthurium species from Panama. Constant humidity, a well-ventilated root zone, and protection from intense direct midday sun are particularly important for healthy growth.
