Description

Nephrolepis cord. Duffii

Name: Nephrolepis cordifolia ‘Duffii’

Etymology: The cultivar name ‘Duffii’ refers to the compact, finely-leaved form of this sword fern relative.

Location/growing conditions: We grow the plant in warm to intermediate conditions at around 18–27 °C, with high humidity and bright to partial shade, indirect light. We keep the loose, humus-rich substrate evenly slightly moist, but avoid prolonged waterlogging.

Description and notes: ‘Duffii’ is a compact fern with small, rounded to slightly ruffled pinnae and dense growth. It is well suited for a windowsill, terrarium, or warm display cabinet. The previous description text mistakenly belonged to an Anthurium and has been completely replaced.
