Description

Anthurium magnificum 'Verde' S

Name: Anthurium magnificum ‘Verde’

Etymology: magnificum means “magnificent” or “splendid.” ‘Verde’ refers to the green foliage of this cultivar.

Origin/Distribution: Colombia.

Location/Habitat: We grow the seedlings at approximately 18–27°C, with high humidity, good air circulation, and bright, indirect light. A coarse, humus-rich, well-aerated aroid substrate should remain consistently lightly moist.

Description and Notes: Seedlings of the ‘Verde’ cultivar are offered. As the young plants mature, they develop larger, velvety green leaves with distinctive venation; shape and appearance may vary from one seedling to another.
