Description

Anthurium magnificum 'Verde'

Name: Anthurium magnificum ‘Verde’

Etymology: magnificum means “magnificent” or “splendid.” ‘Verde’ refers to the green foliage of this cultivar.

Origin/Distribution: Colombia.

Location/Habitat: Moist montane forests. We grow the plant at approximately 18–27°C, with high humidity, good air circulation, and bright, indirect light. We keep the coarse, humus-rich aroid substrate evenly moist.

Description and Notes: ‘Verde’ develops large, velvety green leaves with distinctive venation. As it matures, the leaf blades and petioles become considerably larger and require more space.
