Name: Anthurium macdanielii cf.

Etymology: The genus name Anthurium is derived from the Greek anthos and oura. macdanielii honors Charlie MacDaniel. The addition of cf. indicates that the classification is not fully verified.

Origin: Northwestern South America.

Location/Cultivation requirements: We cultivate this form in intermediate to warm conditions at about 18–27 °C, with high humidity and good air circulation. We keep the coarse, airy substrate consistently slightly moist.

Description and notes: Characterized by very large, leathery leaves with strong basal venation. Leaf shape and coloration can change significantly with increasing age. Due to the not fully verified identification, we list the plant as cf.
