Location: The distribution range of Anthurium arisaemoides extends from 300 to 2,000 m in the tropical moist forest and tropical wet forest habitats. At the type locality in the Cordillera de Cutucu, A. arisaemoides grows terrestrially in dense stands in the forest undergrowth and is strikingly similar to Arisaema in its general appearance. The species often grows in small groups on the ground or sometimes at the base of trees in moss.
Remarks:
This species prefers tropical environments. Tall terrariums for dendrobates are very suitable.
