Name: Anthurium Ecuagenera Queen

Parents: Anthurium warocqueanum × Anthurium waterburyanum

Etymology: The hybrid name “Ecuagenera Queen” refers to the regal, long, pendulous leaves and the breeder Ecuagenera.

Location/Growing Conditions: We recommend warm to temperate conditions of approximately 19–28 °C, high humidity, good air circulation, and bright, indirect light. Keep a coarse, humus-rich, and very airy aroid substrate evenly moist, but avoid waterlogging.

Description and Notes: The hybrid combines the long, narrow, velvety leaves of A. warocqueanum with the broader, sturdier leaves of Anthurium waterburyanum. Mature leaves hang down elegantly, so a tall stand or basket is advantageous. As seedlings, the plants may vary in leaf width, venation, and coloration.
